TCS has hired 42,000 freshers so far in FY23 but only 7,000 people were hired in the third quarter. The hiring target for the upcoming financial year would also include around 40,000 freshers, said Executive Vice-President and CHRO Milind Lakkad. “This reflects our confidence in the medium and long-term,” said the company’s CEO and MD Rajesh Gopinathan, at the release of TCS’ October-December quarterly results.
